Antonia's Biography
Antonia Secundo, is an Italian Mezzo-Soprano.
She studied in Rome with M. Meli and M. L.. Carboni. She graduated in Italy from the Music Conservatory. In Melbourne she studied with B. Bamford and recently she graduated also from Victoria University. Currently she studies Music Interpretation and Analysis with Ivo Monte.
She is also a Professional Flute player.
She graduated in Italy from the Music Conservatory.
She studied with International Teachers: M. Debost, T. Wye, R. Leone, V. Bisanti and A. Oliva. She postgraduated from the Three-Year Course of R. Guiot, Soloist Flute at the Opera de Paris, and she was awarded First prize, from the prestigious “Accademia Italiana del Flauto”, in Rome.
She played Repertoire for Chamber Music and Symphonic Orchestra.
She performed as Singer and Flute player for many Recitals in the most important Italian Theatres as Teatro Regio and Lingotto of Torino, Teatro Comunale of Firenze, Teatro Arcimboldi of Milano, Auditorium of S. Cecilia of Roma and Parco della Musica of Roma, Teatro Massimo and Teatro Politeama of Palermo, Teatro Bellini of Catania, Teatro Regio of Parma, Teatro Donizetti of Bergamo, Teatro Rossini of Pesaro, Teatri Greci of Taormina and Siracusa and many others cities.
She sung also with the Vatican's Choir in Rome.
She performed with International artists, as Leon Bates, Vincenzo La Scola, Stefano Bollani, Amii Stewart, Cheryl Porter, Eleonora Brigliadori, Katia Ricciarelli, Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz, Renato Serio, Gianni Morandi, Fiorello, Renato Zero and many others.
She performed for International Tour in Israel, Mexico and USA. Moreover she has recorded CD and DVD and TV Broadcast for the Italian RAI TV and others International Channels.
Recently, she performed in Australia, in Melbourne and in Sydney for RMIT University, Hawthorn Town Hall, Royal Melbourne Hospital, for many charitable organizations, for the Victorian Wine Award in Victoria, Frankston Library, Yarra Plenty Regional Library, City of Yarra, Bupa, Uniting care, Arcare, Blue Cross, Doutta Galla, Montefiore.
Also she performed as special musician guest for Royal Australian Navy Band.
She also has acted in several episodes of "Neighbours", in "The Cup" , Cinema movie, as well as for "Kmart" and "Coles" Tv commercial, Australian production.
